ISLAMABAD, Aug 01 (APP):A petition has been moved to the Supreme Court of Pakistan challenging the appointment of Lahore High Court (LHC)’s Chief Justice Alia Nelum.
Member Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) Shafqat Mehmood Chohan filed the petition. It said that the appointment was against the principle of seniority which had been settled in Al-Jahad Trust case.
It prayed the court to declare the appointment as null and void.
