ISLAMABAD, Aug 09 (APP):The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday issued notices to the Chief Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, asking them to respond by next week to a request from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to change the location of their political gathering.
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir of the Islamabad High Court heard the case.
During the hearing, the State Council told the court that the district administration had given permission to PTI to hold a rally in Tarnol on August 22.
Advocate Shoaib Shaheen, representing PTI, informed the court that they had requested for political gathering at F-9 Park or Kashmir Highway on the August 13, urging the court to consider the change.
After hearing the arguments, the court issued notices to the relevant parties and adjourned the hearing till next week.
